Gannondale Neighborhood Block Party a Success!

A little rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the Gannondale neighbors who attended Saturday's Annual Gannondale Block Party.

Before long, the sun came out and the party kept going until late into the evening. Good food, cold beer and excellent conversation.

And the kids loved the bounce house!

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped out setting up and cleaning up the event.

Let's do it again next year!

Gannondale Neighborhood Block Party Saturday September 26th!

Our annual Gannondale Neighborhood Block Party will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm next to Triangle Park (located at the fork of Stanford and Cornell).

If you plan to attend, please bring your own drinks and meats to grill.

Neighbors who live at an odd numbered house address - please bring an appetizer or dessert to share; neighbors with an even numbered house address - please bring a salad or side dish to share.

There will be a Bounce House for the kids!

Gannondale Neighborhood Garage and Yard Sale

The Gannondale Neighborhood will have its annual Yard and Garage Sale on Saturday, September 12, 2009 (8:00 am - 1:00 pm.) Rain or shine. Please, no early birds.

Gannondale is located between Hanley Road and North and South, just north of Delmar in University City.

Gannondale neighbors: If you want to take part in the Yard and Garage Sale, please contact Bryan S. Young (7536 Cornell) at (314) 727-3579. There is a $5.00 fee per participating household to cover advertising costs.
