Central Area Bulk Item Pickup (Week of May 2nd)

Due to a printer's error, the Bulk Item Pickup dates on the 2011 University City (paper) calendar are wrong. The first week of May (the week beginning on Monday, May 2nd) is the correct bulk item pickup week for Gannondale.

South Pillar Light is Turned On!

A big "thank you" to Jeff Hales (our 7600 Gannon Block Captain) for "trouble shooting" and fixing the south pillar light at Cornell Ave. and Hanley Road.

Jeff replaced an inexpensive photo sensor and the light came back on at sundown yesterday.

According to Jeff, the north pillar light will require a little more effort and time to repair. One light on and one to go! Once again...thank you, Jeff!

A More Bikeable and Walkable University City

Our Gannondale neighbor, Margaret Johnson chairs a task force developing a master plan for University City with the goal of making our town more bikeable and walkable.
